Georgian Bars

Georgian Bars are available to re-create the look of a traditional georgian glass panel, consisting of many panels joined together by a wooden framework. With fittings and fixings available for the attachment to spacer bar, our imitation Georgian Bar can easily mimic the original by enclosing the entire mock structure inside one double glazed unit.

Many styles and sizes are available, including 8mm x 6mm Austrian Bar in gold, silver and white. Also standard bars from 18mm x 8mm up to 25mm x 8mm, in colours such as white, brown, mahogany, light oak, mahogany on white and light oak on white. A brand new addition to the colour range is rosewood. Fixings for the above are in stock from cruciforms to T and Y pieces, anchors, staple end keys and fixing kits for bends. Shoulders for the bars are also in stock.

Georgian Bends

Georgian Bends and designs are designed to compliment the above. With a fast and efficient turn around service, and with the product manufactured to exact customer specifications, we can expand your range with no extra work for you. Simply order the style and size you require, then enclose inside a unit upon delivery. Bends etc. are available in all Magden Georgian Bar styles and colours.

Duplex Georgian Bar

The Duplex Georgian Bar System was created for the same purpose as ordinary georgian bar, but with the mock georgian to be fixed to the outside of the unit. The Duplex System is comprised of cruciforms and end keys, and is manufactured using spacer bar (as pictured below). It creates the impression of many singular units built up, when it is actually still one unit with a build up of spacer frames enclosed inside. Utilising a four pronged cruciform and two pronged end key, the finished product really is difficult to distinguish from a multiple unit configuration inside a window frame.
